Code Enforcement Officers
The City of
Mayfield Code Enforcement Office reminds candidates of
the following regarding Campaign Signs:
*Campaign signs cannot be placed any earlier than 60 days prior
to an election. This means
that candidates will be in violation of the sign ordinance
if any campaign signs go up before March 18, 2010. *Signs
are to be placed a minimum of 15’ from the edge of the street for
right-of-way clearance; Failure to do this will result in signs being picked
up by code enforcement. *Total
area of political signs should not exceed 34 square feet – the area
can be one large sign or several smaller ones to not exceed.
