July 4th - BAM! (Bike Around Mayfield) is the annual July 4th Century Bicycle Ride staged by the Kiwanis Club of Mayfield, Kentucky. This will be the 6th year for the ride, and the Club continues to improve the routes and services in an effort to make this one of the premier events of its kind in the region. Route are 11, 23, 32, 65 and 100-miles long with plenty of rest stops and SAG drivers. The event starts at the Icehouse Gallery, 120 North 8th Street, one block north of the courthouse square. Riders may choose to leave at either 7:00am or 8:00am. The event coincides with the town’s Glory Days Festival that features live music, food vendors, children’s rides, a farmer’s market, an antique auto and motorcycle exhibit and evening fireworks display.
