Leaves are to be bagged and at the curb - no
appointment is necessary. Bags of leaves can be taken to the Mayfield Public
Works Department on Old Pryorsburg Road anytime in November and December.
Live Christmas trees will be picked up during
the regular monthly limb pickup in January, which will be January 4 for the
North side and January 11 for the South side. Call to make an appointment at
270-251-6200.
Curbside pickup: The City of Mayfield has
an ongoing program of curbside pickup once every month by appointment
only. The pickup schedule is as follows:
3rd Monday of each month - paper pickup.
The City of Mayfield will pick up newspapers and/or mixed paper put out on the curb. Residents have to call
251-6200 to make an appointment by Thursday of the week before the
pickup.
4th Monday of each month - furniture/large
items. The City of Mayfield will pickup items such as used furniture
(no appliances or building materials), mattresses, etc. Residents
have to call 251-6200 to make an appointment by Thursday of the week
before the pickup.
